South Africa is home to a wide variety of wild animals and this makes it a hunter’s paradise.

In the Limpopo Province, wildlife include the following species:

  • 17 species of game including kudu, impala and blue wildebeest
  • 12 species specially protected wild animals including roan antelope and white rhino
  • 33 species protected wild animals such as buffalo, hippo and giraffe
  • 6 species of non-indigenous animals including blesbuck, black wildebeest and grysbuck

Permits are required for the hunting of certain species.  It is therefore advised that a wish-list be discussed prior to your arrival.
